Mielle basically loses all her brain cells without Emma. She begins to follow Isis instead. Isis has decided to give up on the Crown Prince and marry the king of another Kingdom. Isis still wants to exact revenge on Aria for stealing away the Crown Prince, so she and Mielle plot to frame Aria for murder. Mielle holds a party so there are many witnesses who can see Aria returning home. Mielle then meets with Aria and the Count privately. Mielle pushes the Count the stairs and blame Aria for the crime. But Asher was there and takes Aria away using his powers and they create an alibi for Aria being on a romantic vacation with him in another kingdom. The Count is left unconcious, Cain is now the acting head of the household. Mielle pressures low ranking noble women to say that they saw Aria push the count.
Aria and Asher return from their trip making sure to make their presence known as they travel to create more witnesses. Aria is accused in court and Mielle uses the people in the party as her witness. Aria and Asher counter with their own travel receipts of being in another kingdom at the time of the murder. Even though there was many witnesses to see Aria return home at the time of the crime, Aria says she snuck out to go on a trip with Asher before the murder. Because they were in another kingdom, the Crown Prince does not have influence there to make fake travel documents so it is ruled that Aria was not at the scene of the crime.
Mielle then accuses Asher of being able to teleport and Asher makes a counter accusation that the Mielle and the women at the party were on hallucinogens. Mielle's witnesses take back their testimony, and the judge determines that Mielle must have been the culprit. Mielle is placed under house arrest, and Cain also knows that Mielle did it. The Count wakes up, but is basically a vegetable. He knows who pushed him, and felt betrayed by his own children. He regrets not caring more for the Countess and Aria who are the ones taking care of him the most.
Mielle blackmails Isis with their letters to help her escape house arrest. Isis disguises Mielle as her own maid and flees to the kingdom ruled by her fiancee. To guarntee her survival, Mielle placed the incriminating letters in Cain's care, so Isis can't harm her. Isis plots a coup with the Aristocrats to take down Asher with the backing of her fiancee. Mielle tells the King about Asher's abilities and he decides to keep her. Mielle no longer needs Isis to survive.
The soldiers from the foreign kingdom disguise themselves as guests of the aristocrats preparing for a sneak attack. The aristocrats are unhappy because the soilders are messy and keep wasting their money on parties and accommodations. On the day of the coup, it is revealed that the king of the foreign kingdom is working with Asher all along. All the Aristocrats are arrested, including Isis, Cain, and Mielle.
Aria pretends to care for her stepsiblings by protecting them from the death penalty. The aristocrats are all beheaded and their lands and titles are taken away. The countess divorces the count under the pretext of it being the only way to save his property. He agrees. Cain becomes a servant at the imperial palace. Mielle becomes a maid working under Annie.
Mielle resents Annie and Aria convinces her to poison Annie. But on the day of the poisoning, Cain shows up and drinks the poison by mistake. Mielle is arrested once again and then sentenced to death. The count hears the news and loses the will to live. Aria's revenge is complete.
----
Also, the Countess reunites with Aria's father somewhere during the coup treason trials.

Oscar confesses his sister and father's treason. Loses his title but not his life, and the prince gives him the indirect of not looking for Arya at all.
Mielle completely loses her mind after killing Kain, she's so helpless, she still think she's the victim. Arya talks to her for the last time before her beheading, sharing how painful was for her being treated as a monster, as a villainess, and dying because of it.
Arya meets her father's family, and her grandmother completely adores her. She is a former royal grand-daughter, but not related to Asher by any way. Her father was completely in love with her mother, but he was exiled and lost his mind when he couldn't find her after all that time. He recovered when he met her again, and they got married and he could finally be the next Marquis.
Sarah asks Arya to put her veil attachments (something that means how important they are to each other) so, when Arya gets married to become the Empress, her mother and grandmother try to put them on but she refuses, saying that Sarah is the one that will put them. Sarah shows how much he loves her, and how happy that she is that both of them have these awesome destinies.
As an Empress/Queen, she takes care of Jessie and Annie, and when rumours say how disgraceful is that the Queen's maids are treated better than the rest of maids, Arya gets really angry. So angry that she contemplates going back to be a villainess. She gives a fuck yeah to the nobles that dare to criticise them, being super cold and saying "If you take care of your ladies in waiting, shouldn't mine be the most cared maids in the empire?"
When she talks to Asher, he says that he will love her, either a villainess or a saintess, and he doesn't see himself as a that good of a person, as he is jealous of everyone that has Arya's attention, and that sometimes he would wish to put her on their villa with only the two of them and forget about the world's spinning.
Arya ends up staying as a good Queen, loved by everyone and with a brilliant future awaiting.
Completely creepy.
You need to diferentiate love from lust.
Asher feels love, Cain feels lust.
Asher wants to be with her and make her happy, he sees her as what she is on the inside.
Cain wants to posses her to satisfy his own desires, not thinking about her more than the shell that is her beauty.
I had no problem with other step-siblings love, but it was reciprocal love with consent.
This is one-sided desire.

Another Spoiler: Cain had a plan to tie and lock her in her room, so he would be the only man she would see for the rest of her life. The servants completely rebelled and he was the one that ended up being tied and arrested.
Since Aria is a bad bitch , she could still use her step bro to turn against Mielle and get rid of her once and for all. Maybe even hurt the lady who is supposedly marries the prince. (Forgot her name)
