sadly the translations got discontinued before it got to that part :( so i have no idea, but i’m pretty sure he must’ve been severely distressed.

i read the novel before the translation team stopped and god i’m tearing up just reading chap 1 bcoz it’s so bitter. Ugh the misunderstanding asjdjsks *sighs* but I can’t wait for the fixing up. I hate the emperor i hope he diiies
