As for the " rape " part I don't consider it as rape since they've already been married , the female offers the bed with the male and to ask for protection. Ok the ml wasn't the most decent in the first chapter but he didn't force her, he was going to either send her back or punish her by the law for decieving him (a duke). And spoiler for the ones who haven't read this: she is stronger than him physically i mean, what I'm trying to say is that if she was being forced she could've killed him. And she was virgin to begin with because of that very reason or do you thing that there weren't enough bastards in the castle when she worked as a maid?
