Maybe because it’s called Chapter 8.1 (meaning more parts of C8) and not Chapter 8 as a whole

Yeah could be. I read the raws and the end part of chapter 8 is putting me on edge

Yes, you're right. The translator in ch 8 uploaded in installment to I guess to secure his post. Now, he is still missing the smut scenes.
