In Japan , from what I've researched they don't seem as open to discussing topics like sexual harassment due to fear of being shamed. It's a messed up system and people are trying to fix that, but it would be kind of scary for him to tell his parents. I agree with what you're saying though.

The Uke being selfish, WHEN?! His parents are pretty much forcing him to take over the shop and using their naive kindness to do it! I mean they still used the red and white door, it proves it!
And that seme is a bastard! He did nothing for the uke's parents he did it all because of the uke that's it!
There was no reason for the uke to have any feelings for him and if it was me there is no way that I wouldn't tell my parents, being male or female, that the seme is sexually harnessing me! He would have never been hired and that would have been that!
