I really wanted to read this but tbh navigating the naver website is a huge fucking hassle. While I understand what the author is saying and I agree that she deserves to be credited for her work I think if she doesn’t really have any intentions of releasing an official English version then there really isn’t a point to me reading it at all. Why not reach out to one of the people who have already translated the comic into English and try to establish a relationship between the author herself and a translation team of her choosing. Most translators that post on illegal sites don’t get paid so if she offered any form of payment at all I think it could work out. Maybe that’s just me being naive though.
Either way, when I read I prefer it to be a hassle free and smooth experience. I’m stressed enough in life as it is and reading webcomics/manga helps me deal with that. It’s my escape and I rather not have to deal with drama or unnecessary hassle to read something that I am unsure if it is even worth it yet as there are only 3 translated chapters on this site. So while the author may be justified I’m completely turned off from her work now. I hope she builds a great audience and is very successful in Korea.
