I think it's similar more because of the art style which is similar with the heavy lines, muted colours and similar facial expressions. If it didn't look similar, we wouldn't notice any similar plot devices which have been in many other manga / manwha. I think as the story develops, that won't be that similar.
Ppl are comparing this to ks bc, the kidnapping, murder, assalt..(?), breaking and entering, also FIRE. hehe "ashes". Also the uke is like the less feminine version of bum.
