Manhwa gives off a different vibe

I picked up on the novel because I was hooked on to the manhwa at first. But, as I read the novel (currently on Ch. 283), I tried to reread the manhwa and felt so disappointed. The art style doesn’t match with how the novel described them. I expected Minjoon to be more Korean looking (perhaps a more squinted eyes) that gives off a calm demeanor, not someone with a very rounded eye. However, the manhwa makes him feel like just your average guy who solely relies on the system (but he is more than that).

Another thing is that the story is so fast and it doesn’t have the emotional impact that the novel has. I really like how the author paced the novel and built up the emotions between each contestants, but when I reread the manhwa, it just felt like they were competitors for a tv show and no more relationship past that. I can’t even believe that I was trying to continue the novel on Chapter 23-25 when I caught up to the manhwa (Chapter 24) but the novel is already around Chapter 50ish :(

I'm chapter 195 and you said is quite accurate. Not only that, the manhua is fast pace, left out details and some very important details (VID), and some thoughts and emotions intended to share. Also, the characters details and personalities are not shown the same as the novel, sadly.
