God why do y'all get so upset if someone preferred Taku? Joowon was a total assh0le at the beginning, he grew up luckily, but honestly at the beginning it was impossible not to side with Taku.

yeah, cause you knew next to nothing about him and his intentions lmao. this man literally told haesoo "i love you" flippantly and insincerely he just wanted to make haesoo fall for him so that "he can see the type story he writes when he's gone". it's actually described after the dinner all the way in like chapter 50 something, how he just planned on leaving anyway... and haesoo says to him that they showed the worst of themselves to each other. but clearly the author didn't spell it out clearly enough for this side to understand.

anyway, have fun liking taku! i guess i just can't deal with taku stans that always criticize joowon when they dont even bother understanding the character they stan who is not any better (and in some ways worse, when you consider their intentions/motivations side by side)

Neither Taku nor Joowon were perfect, we can all agree with that. But there is a lot of personal reasons why someone can prefer one character over the other, and those reasons can be based on our own experiences. I simply ship Taku over Joowon because i have a lot more affinity with this character (he actually reminded me of someone i used to know) and because there are more things that were just not making it for me about Joowon. His attitude in the beginning was really pissing me off and he did things that were just triggers and a no go for me.

As for Taku, i completly agree that he has a lot of work to do on himself, and we saw some little glimpse of awareness about that along the devlopment of the story. Taku's personality is, on many aspect, peculiar, odd....i'm not that fluent in english to pinpoint the exact word to precisely express what i mean, but this is what kept attracting me to this character because, as i stated, it's reminding me of someone i used to know. I agree there was manipulation and selfishness, but i also do think that at some point, his feelings for Haesoo were not entirely insincere.

All and all, no need to get so worked up about this.

Oh and also, on purely asthetic considerations, i find Taku way more attractive than Joowon ╮(￣▽￣)╭

Well, your tone (as the one of many other people) is pretty judgmental, if someone says "I prefer Taku" most people will react as if they sided with the worst criminal in history, forgetting how bad Joowon was for many chapters and even in the past. I consider them both as bastards tbh, but I don't understand why Joowon became a saint basically and Taku is a demon. If you can accept Joowon and even Heesoo (he's far from perfect too), I don't get why y'all get so pressed for Taku.
(And don't worry, I don't "like" Taku, I don't really like anyone here so I don't understand this Joowon vs Taku war and all this moral issues you like to bring up).

Lmao I'm not talking for op, I said I saw your comment and I decided to comment too.
But it's exactly because you're making these questions that it seems as if your giving a moral judgment. You can like a character even while being fully aware he's rude or worse than other characters. It's not like everyone has to like Joowon because he's good and then wonder if people who like Taku can read the manhwa and if they are aware that he's bad.

i simply want to know their reason for hating joowon and cheering for taku due to both of their questionable/non-questionable aspects and how they weigh against one another in op's eyes. that is all. if you still dont get what i'm saying then you'll never get it so good bye :D
