Okay, I may be spoiling but I read somewhere in the comments that the father is the one who turned back time. In the original time he discovered years after that he killed his real daughter and decided to come back in the past. But the coast of that is that he lost his memories. Still, you can notice in some chapters that the father seems to want to remember something but somehow can't and feels strange.

You're not entirely wrong but I correct that. The mage The Blondie dude who keeps sticking to Keira worked along with Keira's father to turn back time then the father can choose if he want to retain his memories or give it to someone else. He choose Keira to have her memories still intact.

It would have been easier if the father was the one keeping his memories. He could have a better relationship with his daughter while knowing from the debut that Cosette is a demon. It would have eased the situation.
