I saw spoilers of the novel where it was said it was indeed Keira who had the ability to control spirits. Keira is the child of phropercy, becuase she is the only daugther. But it doesn't mean Cosette is not the second daugther. It's just that real Cosette was gone long time ago, you can say thay for the god or whatever she is already dead. The one who is the Cosette we see now is a demon who took over Cosette. I heard the man who helped her was her twin brother who changed his look in a pact with the devil to help Cosette join the family. Not sure about that though. Anyway Cosette indeed posesses an ability... but of the devil. She can steal someone's power by touch. In order to present everyone how she uses spirits, she touched Keira to steal her ability. Later in the prison she also touched Keira and later showed her the spirits. Cosette's goal is to take revenge on her father and his family. Their father had two wives. Cosette's mother was supposed to be infertile, but when she got kicked out because of Keira's mother family schemes, it turned out she got pregnant with twins, but the mother died and if im not wrong both her children also died. But they were revived by the demon. And the demon took as his goal to avenge the, probably on order to destroy the country. Since by killing Keira the country will be doomed.
The one who turned back time was the duke with the magician. Actually Keira's father was aware that Keira is his real daughter, but he decided to sacrifice Keira for peace with his second's wife family. Which lead to the child who was supposed to save the country - gone and the country meeting its doom. In this situation he decided to turn back time and prevent the catastrophe. However he was supossed to have the memories of that future, but for some reason it was Keira who had them and he had only some fragments.
Anyway I heard it ended at Keira and her lil bro abandoning their cruel to his own family father and left the duke estate, swearing they will never forgive him for what he did to Keira. I guess the lil bro also was told what happened to Keira in the past, he took her side and left with her, while hating his father. Too bad there was no ML. But those are spoilers of the novel, we don't know if the manhwa's author will follow the story or change it a bit.

Yeah, it's really dumb. But this guy is peace loving asshole so he decided to sacrifice Keira beacuse the second's wife family wanted. In order to not get in war with them, he decided to kill her. Keira and her lil bro will find out about it so i think it will be the main reason for abandoning him. As for the knights, i guess they might have left with them.

starting a war or fight with another family is better than putting the world in danger. dang i don't even know why he's a duke with that kind of stupid judgement
