Well they already have a link for people to read online ( http://kurose.co.vu/tagged/translation) so its not like they are making it difficult for us. What they are doing is ilegal and they are doing it because of us, ten count fans.
Like, they really work hard on the chapters, its for FREE and then people come and do what they asked not to (to quote her: "I hope no one will try to print screen the pages and upload them on aggregator sites. Please don’t be so desperate. :’D I already provided an online reader so just read that! :>").
We all want to enjoy sensei's work but now we might not be able to do so because they could drop ten count again.
Oh, don't translate and then non-readers of Japanese be like, "WHYYYYY IS NO ONE TRANSLATING THIS I NEED THE ENGLISH VERSION!!!"
Scanlators are doing us a favor, not the other way around. I don't understand why people feel the need to bitch about how scanlators are complaining when they're doing this for FREE, for STRANGERS.
NEWSFLASH: Translators can enjoy these manga without having to share them with us because unlike us, THEY CAN READ JAPANESE.
UGH, people.
Thats only because they are doing an ilegal thing since ten count is licensed now. And the company who bought the rights to publish it knows that websites like this exist and when they see that this is translated, it will lead straight to ika's tumblr and who else helped her.
When she put on that online link for us, it was because its more difficult for the company to find out that ten count has been translated.
People are missing the point here on the coments, like complaining that we are bitching. But I don't want to see someone who always does her best to translate this manga for us, get screwed. This is ilegal!! And she is risking things so everyone can continue reading ):
Most mangas here are not licensed, Ten Count is. The publishing company, Sublime, can easily track them down now if the see the links and everything on the website. Basically we should just listen to the scanlator so that they won't get mad and will graciously continue to translate for us.
i agree, what's the point of translating and posting it if you don't want people to read it...
also even if they drop it, someone is likely to pick it up where it left off which is what happened to a lot of manga drops
YES. THANK YOU. It all boils down to respect and not being an ingrate. We all want to read Ten Count, so since it's licensed now, we can either
a. wait for the licensed version to come out (and we know that's not happening very soon)
or
b. read scanlations done by individuals who have absolutely no responsibility to do what they do for us, but still do it anyway because they want us to understand what's going on in the manga we care about so much.
there's no certainty someone will pick it up. if nobody picks it up, sorry but we all will just have to wait for sublime to translate the whole thing, publish it, and then we buy it
you know, there was a time when manga reading sites like this did not exist. scanlations have been around for much longer than these sites, so you can't say that the point of scanlations is to be posted on manga readers. nope. some groups still release scans over IRC because it's much more controlled and much harder since not a lot of people these days know how to use IRC.
what the fuck?? they posted ONLINE for everyone to read it!! How can you conclude that she doesn't want people reading when SHE CLEANED AND TRANSLATED for that purpose. Seriously people, start using your head. Its so easy to respect her wishes and NOT GET HER INTO TROUBLE. Its easier than screen cap the entire chapter and post it here.
whats the issue...at the end if they day they translated it, what no one else is supposed to read it? whats the point if sites like these then? why people always make shit difficult then don't translate. seriously it should matter that we all enjoy sensei work instead if bitching and moaning about who uploaded what, don't translate if your gonna bitch about it
