I mean I think the concubine is going yandere for the mc. I'm pretty sure she never has felt attraction before for the emperor and then she started to feel things for our mc when they hung out together. Plus with recent events I think she is starting to resent the emperor due to the fact that he actually seems to be falling in love with mc. When she said she would help mc get closer to the emperor I doubt somewhere deep inside she actually believed that the emperor would actually catch the feels. I think she is starting to realize that she indeed has feelings for mc and doesn't like it that the emperor likes her too. or at least that was the vibe I was getting (seriously like she only ever got flustered and blushy around the mc)
Tbh that's what i think too also I've got a bad feeling that someone is plotting in shadows and this plot will cause a misunderstanding for the concubine and mc concubine then will think she was betrayed or was lied to and will be a obstacle or maybe not but i have a bad feeling
