I agree, but the plot wants to quickly move on, and not be so focused on torturing that guy. After all, they want to focus more on the mc becoming stronger and leveling up, rather than having scenes to where that guy is getting his ass beat up.
I don’t think his goal is to kill him? Isn’t it that the book he found gave him a way to restore his family? Or is my whole life a lie? Bc that’s what I thought was happening here. (￣∇￣")

Actually we don't know if someone will feel better or not after killing the perpetrator. Sometimes they'll sigh and say "they've been avenged", under the sunset or something lol, and move on with their lives. It just depends on the person.
I'm still at Ch. 36 so please no spoiler but...... I don't understand him....... Unless it's gonna bring his family back if he killed the killer then he don't need to be so obsessed with killing him. I don't think it's gonna make him feel better to kill the killer but what I suggest is not killing the killer but instead...... daily(or monthly) torture for the rest of his life so he can feel the pain more because dying is just hurting once but torture BETTER
