Itadori just encountered toge's friend who is out to kill him for accidentally blasting his arm off while sukuna was in control. At this moment itadori and his other new friend are getting rid of all the demons that appeared in Shibuya (I think it's Shibuya) during the cursed spirits raid and everyone seemed to meet up at one point.

The ceremony? The higher ups basically decided that Gojo is an accomplice of Suguru so he's considered as a traitor.
He's permanently banned from the jujutsu community and the seal that binds him is forbidden to to be open. If someone did, they will be considered as a traitor too. With that being said, Gojo is incapacitated so it means that Megumi is going to be the next Zenin head. Thats why the Zenin dude is on a hunt for megumi and make him write a will that the dude will be the next head before killing him.
