So basically it's Yansheng being an asshole for a lot of chapters along with his bitchy mistress. Yansheng or the Gu's even threatened/tossed Tang Shou out of the picture with the use of their business power. Tang Shou sees Niannan for the last time where a "jealous" Yansheng intervenes. Tang Shou continues to pursued his music career. Another fiasco happen then some pips wanted to kidnap Luoan for offending someone or being the lover of Yansheng (<--- sorta confused or forgot the clear sh8 that happened here). At a banquet when the mistress was gonna get kidnapped he used Niannan as the scapegoat despite having his ptsd triggered and this led our poor baby to be beaten up and relive the trauma he had.

The kidnappers took a video of a beaten up Niannan and sent it to Yansheng who was wasted. A day or so they called Yansheng to drop the project they had with the Tang or Niannan dies but Yansheng being half asleep from blackout responded that he didn't care if our baby dies or not and this was heard by Niannan.

This of course broke Niannan but also was the final straw. Shit goes down of Niannan wanting to give up, being beaten and locked up. Days later with no more callbacks from Yansheng, the kidnappers were contemplating on what to do with Niannan. (Correct me if I'm wrong but maybe adrenaline got to Niannan and beat them up or just basically escaped)

While Niannan was suffering our Yansheng kept on saying that he was sleeping with other men until few days later it was confirmed that Niannan was actually missing. Although restless, Yansheng was celebrating with LuoAn for winning a competion.

Niannan arrived clothes stained with blood and he was heavily injured. Exchange of words happened until Niannan brought up that he agree to divorce. This shook Yansheng who was in doubt. Suddenly Yansheng's mother barge in saying she won't allow the divorce and even threatened Niannan on pulling their shares from Wen Company. Niannan takes a knife and held it against his neck begging them to set him free.

Finally Yansheng's mom(Lu Yun?) agrees and Yansheng reluctantly signed the papers. Niannan takes the paper ans walks out. Lu Yun follows Niannan out who almost fainted, she tries to convince him to change his mind but Niannan has had enough.

Gu Secretary told Yansheng to look for Niannan since he wouldn't be abler to go to the hospital in that state. Yansheng found hun passed out at a lawn near the road and brought him to the hospital.

Niannan's mental state was unstable and won't let anyone get near him besides the doctor. They adviced Yansheng to not show himself since he was triggering bad memories of Niannan and instead to call a family member. Yansheng just told them to assign a good doctor for Niannan and that happens to be a the doctor that knows Tang Shou and have already helped Niannan when he had a stomach hemorrhage.

Tang Shou received the news of Niannan being injured and rushed to the hospital but Niannan also denies him. Niannan's psychiatrist comes to frame and does treatments which allowed Niannan to somewhat recover. Tang Shou showed his sincerity to Niannan and made efforts to take care of him. He also found out that Niannan got divorced which made him happy and scared that it might be a dream.

Niannan was slowly recovering thanks to the doctors and Tang Shou. However and article was posted regarding the affair of Niannan and Tang Shou while Yansheng was supposed an idiot or smth. This was cleared up when Yansheng publicly announced that they were divorced for already a month (I think?)

So yaddah yaddah...Niannan goes to Tang Shou in a studio where they compose and play piano. The mistress LuoAn however was under fire when his supposedly own composition didn't sound right when played live. LuoAn was pretending to be WE (<-- Niannan's Music Acc or DA*?*). This made Yansheng question himself if LuoAn was really WE.

Tang Shou saw the live broadcast and thought how could LuoAn be his God Idol in their industry/circle, Niannan stood up and played the piece that was "supposedly" owned by LuoAn and that's how Niannan told Tang Shou that he was the real WE.

Tang Shou posted a video on weibo of Niannan's hands playing the piano and fans start to say that LuoAn stole the piece and was a liar. Yansheng saw it, played it multiple times and recognized the ring marks on the hands and that's how he found out his mistress was a liar pretending to be someone else and took credit for those competition wins and interviews.

Yansheng gradually realizes he actually likes Niannan but Niannan was not having it and didn't tolerate Yansheng's plea.
