He disliked violates mother so much that he projecting his hate towards the daughter. violets mother and his relationship was more of power/ political thing. Also I suspect his character might have been similar to the princes. the prince also seemed like a tool (tbh he still kinda is) before Yulan told him off. So the father kept a side chick to meet his own happiness. this is just my personal view point he is trash. :) i hope this helped.

Can somebody spoil meee. Is there a reason why the father cheated? Or is he really just a piece of trash and just cheated on the FLs mother. And whyy does he hate his daughter. LikeWTF?? She did not do anything and he is the one who cheated and the reason why all of that happened.
