Same. I understand liking a character for their complexity yk. (For example, I really love how complex Sangwoo's character is. However I don't ignore or try to defend his actions. Or romanticize his behaviour with the other characters, or even to himself.) But ignoring now toxic they are, normalising and trying to defend their actions is just a fat no for me. Like they really be trying to romanticize what a murder/kidnapper does to their victims like wtf.
I basically stalked all the comments. HOW YOU MFS- same bitches who romanticize toxic ass relationships in bl, romanticize toxic sss relationships in het manhwa. LMFAO, some of you never fail to disappoint me. Like you really be like "Ok so like yeah he ruined her life and shit and like almost Got her raped like 1000x and sexually assaulted her a bunch and held her captive and abused her and is trying to break her mentally physically and emotionally and ruins her relationships with others. BUTT LOOK AT MY SILBER HAIRED EDGIER (totally) "yandere" husband. Ugh he's so possessive it's so hot." That's just pertaining to this book btw. Normally bls/yaois are like 10x worse (ofc I'm speaking about the toxic ones) but way more normalized. Prime examples: killing stalking and painter of the night. You ship the mfs in those shows? I RESPECTFULLY want you far away from me. Like a good...Jupiter away from me. Yes, I'm taking you to a psychiatrist as well<3
