For me, I don't even care if she's useful to Jinho or not. I just want her to have self-respect or at least use him as an inspiration to overcome her struggles when it comes to her career. She's introduced as this famous actress and suddenly, she thinks her career is going downhill right after she meets Jinho. And she's still going to his pizza shop while knowing that she should do something about her career. That's what's irritating me about her character to be honest.

But the excessive clinglyness to a guy who is clearly uninterested is just sad. Nobody is expecting her to at a level of a martial artist, since most characters around the MC are not martial artists. Its not the situation I hate, its just the evident lack of self respect that makes her character off putting. The first female love interest realised he wasn't worth her time and effort, so she went out to look for someone else who will love her back.
I don't see why authors portary females as hinderances, overly dependent or excessively clingy. Females can be badasses too! Females don't need to cling onto uninterested guys and could just be a character to promote the MC's character growth. I don't think Ms Choi is pulling any emotion other than annoyance from me. The secretary's characteristics could have been given to Ms Choi and readers probably would have backed her. Its just sad seeing the author pull the weak heroine stereotype as a plot device
