she can get stronger by training at a SAFE environment where she won’t inconvenience other people. being weak isnt a sin, but not being self aware is. what can she do anyway by tagging along? nothing. in fact, shed pose more harm. shed only be a distraction and it could prove fatal. i know this is a plot device, but this is so cheap lmao.
I got what you mean but her initial feeling was to be useful.... Nobody knows the snake gonna be there and we do know that she will be super useful later on.. Why the hates on her. Yes she can train in a safe environment but you know that she is not training yet.she haven't started and she doesn't know the importance of having strength.. o u right. my point still stands. they know a snake demon is roaming around. mc’s guard tagged along exactly bc its dangerous. only the two of them went because bringing a whole entourage will attract the snake and make it hard for them to flee. but in the end the other guards had to follow sohye because she went out on her own.
to be clear, im not hating on sohye. i just hate her action, and thats ok? her action might be justified (shes a kid/shes stupid/she lacks self awareness/etc.), but i still think its dumb regardless of the reason. idk why youre so pressed about this.... if youre arguing why i think its a dumb plot device, well, because it is. its cheap and overused. kinda doesnt make sense since sohye is characterized as smart, self aware, and afraid to be a burden. so to dumb her down just for this.... weird but ok.
