i like the story and all, but the mc’s lack of empathy and “i’m only doing this because it benefits me” attitude ... it seems it’s gotten better, and i hope it will get better.

Lol just know that Cale is an unreliable narrator haha his actions often contradict his words but once you figure out why he is the way he is, you'll understand
