Same thing happened to me, i posted a comment on a manga's page asking if it has rape/dubcon sex (because i wanted to avoid that stuff) and people were disliking like crazy. Idk, maybe they misunderstood and thought i was looking for rape/dubcons like it was my fetish or something? Or maybe they're just hardcore fans of the manga and didn't want people like me (i'm very vocal at disliking mangas that promote toxic relationship/romanticize sexual assault) hating on their favorite work? Idk.
Yeah I’m super vocal about those issues as well, but still it doesn’t give people a right to call you out for not wanting to read or see sexual assault happening- :|
i usually avoid reading rape stories by checking the tags. so if u want to avoid being attacked, just check the tags
I agree... it's not like this site has tags for rape like MRM or mangadex, and people don't bother tagging/putting a warning on the comments. I say just keep doing what you're doing, but maybe add an explanation that stuffs like that triggers you and that you want to avoid it. Most people are kind when i explain that i'm easily triggered, and even if they're not, i'm sure that there will be at least one person who'd give a helpful answer.
Sometimes the tags won't be there though... and sometimes people weren't aware that the sex scenes in the mangas are considered an assault. For example, scenes where the bottom keeps saying no or stop but the top keeps going, and the whole thing is just basically an assault yet the author framed it as something normal. That kinda thing is very triggering for me, but most people don't think it as rape or sexual assault. And i have to reeeeally dig in deep before i started reading something, because there's just no way of knowing otherwise.
Yeah some people may not know, but still. It doesn’t mean that they should be oblivious to the topic before uploading.

Um hey, I just want to simply ask why do people get so mad at me when I ask if a character has been sexually assaulted/abused/forced by another character in the manwha or manga or whatever it is? Like I asked once before if a character someone liked has raped the other character in a manwha and I immediately got flamed by people who were mad at me for accusing when I just asked a simple question to avoid me from being upset, along with others as well. This may seem sarcastic or whatever, but it’s a real issue. Please, I ask some of you to stop assuming people are accusing, when in reality they just want to know if a character is going to be or has been assaulted.
