u should definitely read the manga!! but junpei is dead and doesn't really appear again either
The anime exactly does everything what the manga does, even adds some extra scenes. And sadly, Junpei is not alive.
Another thing, I recommend you to read the manga. Because the story keeps getting better and better. The current arc and latest chapters are really interesting and literally every chapter feels like a slap in the face! (￣∇￣")

i recommend you to start from the beginning but the anime is around about chapter 48, junpei dies at chapter 27
So im deciding whether to read the manga or not after watching the anime... Is JUNPEI alive or the author really killed him T^T i was hoping hes alive, when his classmate said he transferred schools but why do i feel that hes dead T^T yuuji just knocked him out to sleep right ? Pleaseee tell me T^T
