It’s not. That’s a common misunderstanding of the Japanese legal system. It’s at least 16 and changes depending on prefecture. In some places it’s as high as 18. If you’re an adult and you sleep with a 13 Yr old in Japan you’re going to jail 100% anyway this is a work of fiction. The age of consent doesn’t mean shit bc they’re not real.

Ok let's all remember that in japan age of consent is like 13 or 14. This is japanese so whoever wrote this wouldn't think it's all the wrong/strange. However it still feels weird y'know, but I want to see where this is going lol （￣へ￣）
