Next chapter we see what happened to August, then dinner resumes in the chapter after that. There will be a new love interest for Shavonne, and we'll see how Lewellyn and Shavonne met 8 years ago in prison. Shavonne just doesn't remember for whatever reason, but the flashback has a heavy plot and is around 10 chapters long so...

It's the good kind of sad, I think, although there's no spoilers for the ending so whether it's a happy one or not is unknown.
Basically Lewellyn was physically abused in prison, beaten up and whatnot. Shavonne was his comfort. His backstory is going to be a tear-jerker for sure. We'll all hold hands while we cry for him together ┗( T﹏T )┛
