However, addressing Asami the way other foreigners do is supposed to make us question whether it really is Akihito, so that would probably rule out Sudo as well.

It's possible to imitate another person's voice, but I don't think it's Sudo. It's just one of many paths my weird imagination took. You have to admit that'd be a helluva of twist if Asami discovered he just made love to someone other than Akihito. But my latest far-fetched theory is that Sensei is doing a kind of Inception twist, where it really IS Akihito, who has been brainwashed into believing he's working as an Akihito impostor.
