Your description reminded of 'yes, no or maybe half' novel's MC(which recently released a movie). The MC isn't exactly trash, but the personality he showed to everyone else is very different from his inner personality. He always complain and curses about everyone and everything in his mind, but outwardly, he shows a gentle, understanding and kind image; the total opposite. But he works harder than anyone else, so in a way it backs up his complaints of others' inadequacy.
He's a news announcer, so he can't let anyone know of his trashy personality too.
Novel is definitely tons better than the movie.
I kinda like these kind of characters. They are trash human being but not useless. Like I super hate big talk for nothing character. At least this guy actually have some power to back up his speech. It would be better if he can separate his private live with his professional. Like you can be a horrible human being but still being a good teacher(don't know how this work in real life). That would make it more interesting to me. Do you have any suggestions for these type of character? Please share it. Ty(づ￣ ³￣)づ
