Right? Like she wasn't educated in anything. No one even told her what sex was, even when she got married. Idk if that came across in the comic or not but in the novel she had no clue what was happening at all. On top of that she was severely abused physically and emotionally.

Yes, did they forget that she’s been physically and mentally abused her entire life? Her father constantly beat her and had her healed every time to make everything look fine, so no one would believe her even if she said anything. She never even received proper education or love and was isolated. Her trauma isn’t gonna magically disappear. Ofc she’s not gonna be good at anything at first because she needs to be given the chance to learn about the world around her. This is an unpopular opinion, but the MCs don’t always have to be badass. There’s a lot of manhwa lately with badass MCs so I find Maxi refreshing and I think she’s strong in her own way. Anyway I read the novel and spoilers can’t wait to see Maxi’s growth later on
Exactly, it's like these readers don't know how real life works. U can't just magically erase all the trauma she's been through and give her some random dose of knowledge.... We're only 19 chapters in too, you can't randomly expect some character development
Also yeah, Maxi is really refreshing and I can't wait to see her character grow
I hate how some of the readers are acting dumb when it comes to the FL, she acts this way for a reason. "She's so weak, she's so dumb", that's not her fault though, you guys hate on her so much and won't even consider why she acts like this. I feel like y'all didn't pay attention on the first few chapters. The author is writing her realistic imo, she doesn't have to be a "badass" yet
