why you hate kashima?? he just too honest, the honest one should be with the innocent, clueless one!!!! toono x kashima!!!!!(๑•ㅂ•)و✧
I actually agree with you even though we are in the minority, and it's kind stupid how people are downvoting you for a different opinion. I like characters like Yacchan because even though he's two faced, he's a developed character. I feel like Kashima's character hasn't been developed enough, like why does he like the main character? it felt kind of random to me.
Yeah, that would be great ^^ But in the state that he is now I just don't think him interesting. He's like... so obvious in everything he does, no hidden character depth that would make me feel intrigued by him... I hope that there will be some more character development or I'm just going to have to be satisfied with the other couples <3
I love innocent characters - most of the time... when they are still interesting, for example with an inner strenght or even just with more attributes than just innocent and honest. These character traits make for a good short story, but not for a longer series. I at least grow tired of these overly innocent characters that sometimes seem a bit stupid even (I feel so at least...). I love developed characters that have a lot of depth, with not everything in plain sight, because, who is like that in the real world? No realism at all in these characters and I don't like that...
I just don't think that he has much character depth. I mean, describe him in 10 attributes ... I at least feel like I could find just two or three terms that would sum up all the other ones and they would all be in the range of nice, endearing, honest, innocent, etc. In my opinion, that isn't enough to make for an interesting character, but it's just MY opinion. Everyone is welcome to feel differently ^^
Well, to be fair Toono isn't exactly a terribly interesting as a character either? And he likes Yacchan for basically the same "???" reason that he is cute and the first person to talk to him that is nice. It looks like it's the same deal for Kashima. Really, there doesn't need to be a huge wonderful reason to fall for someone :).
But we overlook Toono because he's the main character or maybe because he is incredulous over everything whereas Kashima is chill optimistic. Which doesn't seem like a developed character, but it is? I find in fiction people don't view people who are put together and happy as having character but it's more accurate to say they don't have an 'interesting' character (like being two faced, speaking in an indecipherable manner, being a tsundere, or a sadist). Honestly I appreciate him being in this comic. In a pile of wild cards having someone grounded is good and that's part of his function.
Someone with some sense
I love Yacchan and I hate Kashima. He's sooo annoying and I hate that he will get together with Toono. I feel like he's (Kashima) got no character depth at all.... However, Yacchan is intriguing, would love to see more of him, Toono and Yuri <3
