Yes this has happened to me so many times lol. I've been reading yaoi for almost tens years now, and during that time I've read A LOT shit that's so bizarre that it literally made me question all of my decisions in life.

i haven't encountered a yaoi that i need to close the window (there's title that i'm close to doing it), but frankly, i've found a lot more dirty hentai and appalling live action porn than yaoi
hahaha, it probaby looked tame in illustration but i just can't forget a live action porn i've watched about it. i've watched a lot of gore and ero-guro anime when i'm craving for it but the porn just sticks to my mind. i'll probably be fine with it if he just hacks the girl in pieces while fucking her but he just had to ate her too.

It happened for me sometimes...but then after few years I came upon the same mangas and it was ok .... fisting is a big turn off for me. still make me sick: scatology, bestiality (fantasy shape shifters excluded) some shota, mutilations, some body modifications. I do not enjoy cruelty without good psychological plot. Can read mindbreaks but they make me really sad.

I do enjoy a lot of messed up mangas and there are some genres I don't prefer, but if the art is good enough or the plot is interesting I will read it. My line is very very blurry and depends on the manga.

Fisting is probably the limit for me too. But I didn't drop the manga. Mind break is 1 of my favs! Never tried anything with scatology though. It certainly doesn't sound appealing. So I might have dropped it if I ever tried. Not 100% sure if I would though, as I said, never tried it before. I do however like Necrophilia & a bit of Cannibalism. That's the thing actually. I don't easily drop something I am reading or watching before finishing it. For example, before reading mangas with fisting I thought I would never be able to process it. But I did read it till the end. So I am assuming that I might have a higher level of tolerance than I think I have.

I think one of the mangas I read that scarred me was Trap. I can't remember the author, but it's about sensei-student relationship. I can't handle the seme's rudeness and asshole-ness. And it really scarred me when his uke would like to have his wrist watch, the seme wrapped it in a plastic and shove it in uke's ass and told him not to pull it out until he gets home.

Have any of you read a yaoi, yuri, etc. with a scene where you went "I've read some questionable, dirty, awful sex before but this, this is where I draw the line" then left the manga because it scarred your memory.
For me for yaoi, it's that one manga with a fisting a full arm up the uke. For yuri, it's a Eva dj where Rei poisons Asuka and the andiotee was something Rei drank so Asuka was forced to consume Rei's scat as she pooped on top of her. For the hentai, I don't even want to remember the plot: it had mind break, drugs, scat, and lactation.
