Seriously that poor unborn child is obviously gonna be born and if it were real life it would be born with some severe behavioral issues due to the stress Louis is being put through due to the prince. And if the prince is the father then it would be clear that the kid would have some very bad behavioral issues from said father and I would pity Louis for putting up with with the prince for so long.
it being BL doesn't change anything though, these bad tropes are all throughout romance novels and comics... it's still seen as bad ┗( T﹏T )┛there's well written BL and there's also ones with bad tropes... it's not really the fact that it has rape as a topic, but that it treats it like nothing and the rapist faces no accountability. i feel that media can definitely influence how we feel and think about things, and i know for me at least that reading so much stuff that excused abusers when I was younger made me think it was romantic in real life, which led to some not so great situations
