Well, if you really think about it, where did it truly start? Marley? Eldians? Ymir? The very beginning of life? It doesn't matter where it started honestly. No sides are right in my opinion just as none are really wrong. People are just acting based on feelings and perspective. And as much as I hate that bitch Gabi, she is the perfect example on how perspective affects how you think, feel and act.
And if you truly think commiting mass murder is the answer well I can't fault you but think about the good people in the world, the lives Eren is trampling over and not just the Marleyans either but other countries, cultures and races. He's literally just doing the same shit that happened to him and his family to literally everyone else. He may be doing it for the people he loves and (lets be real) his own selfish desires but the ends doesn't always justify the means. Sorry for the essay.(≧∀≦) but you catch my drift. Well I do think the only rational way to read AOT would be to veuw it as a series of events that happened and not at all think about what should have and what shouldn't.Cause not all things that should happen happen and vice versa.BUT it really rubs me the wrong way how marleians in their greed decised to invade the peace in Paradise,but that's exactly what happens if you give someone too much power to what they can handle.
For real, I hate the Marleyans sm. The fact that they call the Eldians devils yet proceed to use them to win their wars. The fact that they only are trying to invade paradis island out of greed for resources and power. They keep preaching the same 2000 year old history to justify being awful people, pushing their superiority. They suck overall and I'm not even pissed that Eren wants to kill them all. Like, at the very least just leave the island alone. If they had done that, none of this would be happening rn.
Have you heard of the theory of time loop in aot,it's says that this is a time loop in which these events keep repeating and that's how eren can see the future,and the reason why he believes that only way to escape if destroy the world to end the time loop once and for all.
I haven't. But that makes sense. I'm looking forward to the manga updates though, so I can see exactly what's going on in Eren's head because global genocide was the farthest from my mind tbh.
I really hoped that Eren would find peace and live a relatively happy life by the end of this but when he started this shit, I knew that his only atonement would be his death. So many things have happened and though I can't say he's right for doing this whole global genocide, I can't blame him for thinking this was the only alternative. Now, I really just want him to get a proper goodbye with everyone like at the path, especially with Mikasa and Armin and hopefully find his peace in his death. ╥﹏╥ Now let me go mourn all our fallen soldiers.
