Manipulation

In a lot of ways, Yeonwoo is being manipulated into the false idea that Keith is a good person. This chapter showed it the most with Emma explaining that Keith was a mess with Yeonwoo gone and that a lot of the days wouldn't come to work or would show up drunk. It's a way to make Yeonwoo feel guilty for leaving as he will connect it to Keith missing him and the company, therefore, falling apart because of it. What's even more frustrating is that people are defending Keith in the comments saying that he was in his rut and that he did mean to rape Yeonwoo. It doesn't matter if he was in a rut or not, it doesn't change the fact that he raped Yeonwoo, never apologized about it, kept him captive in his house, and set a bounty on his head when he tried to run away. It's a toxic relationship with Keith being a self-centered rapist and Yeonwoo a victim that believes he needs to stay with Keith, one, he "loves" him, and two, because without him staying with Keith his lives and the lives of others fall apart. Something which was seen in this chapter. It's the definition of abusive and concerning that people don't recognize it.

THIS!!!! i really hope the plot of this manhwa will diverge from other omegaverse yaoi, but rn it really doesnt feel like it will- i feel like yeonwoo is just gonna be in the same loop of being angry at keith (rightfully so), keith taking him back, and then him loving and feeling guilty for keith. and then back in the loop again. god all i want is a revenge story with consequences to your actions

I know. I'm continuing to read it because I think it could be a great story if Yeonwoo does realize the abusiveness of the relationship and works on himself to get out of it and try to raise a kid, but I don't think that will happen.

well said, I agree! yeonwoo is the victim here - he did things wrong but was literally cornered to. and now he’s being guilt tripped for his actions, and keith’s too. the way he said “I’m sorry, you did nothing wrong.” was just the last sign of me giving up on yeonwoo haha TT
