Eddie no need to be mad! it's not that serious and they're fictional characters. And they are trash, Dojin is a rapist (Doesn't even ask hyesung if it's okay and just does as he please) and hyesung is a gold digger from the start. He used his own baby to get money from dojin, who does that??? He ran away from his duty's and his problems. this story is not love. their's no love in it except for heesoo and dojun who actually are quite decent. At this point, I'm only here for Byul and heesoo.

I agree though, the main couple isn’t that great and is actually toxic. Dojin never voices his problems and just takes it out on his partner, even in the latest chapters. Hyesung was clearly in it for the money in the beginning and grows to sort of love their family but is too stubborn to sort out his own issues both internally and his relationship. They have so much trouble with communicating that it’s just sad. Sex can’t just erase the fact they have issues. The other couples aren’t perfect either, but they are not nearly as bad as the main couple.

I think you’re all getting the wrong idea, the entirety of the series is named love is an illusion, whether it be real love or not the base of the entire plot is that love is an illusion, there is no such thing as a perfect relationship where everything is perfect and everyone is living a happy go lucky life together (I.e the illusion), every couple has flaws, whether it be Dojin lacking communication and solving his problems through sex, or Hye-seung being a former gold digger, both were just as bad as the other, and found a “home” within each other while trying to develop as people, thus the mc going to school rather than being a drop out and living off his rich in-laws, as for Dojin using sex to solve problems, this is a BL, anytime there is an opportunity for sex the author is going to use it since most people read BL for the MLM sex anyway. Unfortunately, not everyone reads for the plot, sad to say so often than not, sex in any given opportunity is thrown in by the author as a form of “fan service”. However, no rape, fictional or not will ever be justified, but nobody should be even remotely shocked that there was rape anyway, this is a BL manga, it’s more than expected that there’d be non consented sex, it’s what everyone should’ve expected as rape is a literal BL classic, even if both sides of the party are “hard” or “aroused” rape is rape...however if rape is something you cannot handle then I have no idea why you’d read BL knowing almost every non-fluff + NSFW BL 70% of the time have rape.
