Ugh... now I kind of sympathize with them. What they did was wrong but Shizuya kind of fanned the flames aggressively as well. The boyfriend most likely freaked out at Yuma's size and was desperate to protect the bully. This whole incident, if we're being serious, became a trial by media and everyone who had no business getting involved, got involved and made things worse.

So, let me get this straight, the bully and his boyfriend picked on Shizuya and then Yuma got involved. The boyfriend slashed Yuma's face. And because the incident was leaked on social media, the boyfriend got backlash for the attack and people started spreading rumors that he's gay. To protect the bully, the boyfriend broke it off with him and distanced himself. The bully became really sad and angry so he sought out Shizuya so he can lash out at him for not suffering social consequences like they did. Did I get it right?
