they both are but ugetsu wanted to broke up from the beginning since he knew their relationship won't work out but the fact that akihiko still cling to ugetsu after that is just asshole behavior for me. （￣へ￣）

i can''t agree, Akihiko was clinging to Ugetsu because he didnt really end the relationship, like he told mafuyu he dont want to let him go, he was horrible to him to make him leave but Aki was blindly in love with Ugetsu, they where both toxic for each other

uhhh.. actually ugetsu didnt completely break it off with akihiko.. he was kind of leading him on but also pushing him away.. so thats why i can understand why akihiko stuck around.
But didn’t they start over tho... Aki gradually distanced himself from Haruhi and gave both of them time to like get their problems sorted which gave Aki the chance to make himself a better person that Haruhi deserves to which by the way he actually said like two times and Haruhi also saw that change and noticed that Aki was trying hard for him which is the reason that Haru ended up accepting his confession.
ugetsu broke it off. akihiko pushed himself. ugetsu did still love him but wanted to get away from him since it will never worked up. akihiko stucked around bc he know ugetsu still liked him but thats not an excuse. they were officially split off so akihiko shouldn't be making a fuss to whom ugetsu will be sleeping around. ugetsu wasn't actually leading him in. he wanted akihiko to be fed up with him so akihiko will leave the house.
didn't he said "lets stop this" pr something.it might not be officially a break up but that alone should send signals to akihiko that ugetsu knows their relationship will not work up. akihiko did sticked around bc he knows ugetsu still like him but thats not the reason. once one party is conflicted to your relationship, it is bound to make problems between the two parties. akihiko should've left ugetsu at that day or did something to make their relationship work not to messed it up even more.
but still in my opinion it would've been better if haruki and akihiko didn't ended up with one another at that night. akihiko is still at the process of changing that time. thats why i said its ideal bc it will felt like they are falling to each other once again and not like forgetting everything happened in the past in a heartbeat.
don't mind the "they were officially split off" it should be "ugetsu split it off"
akihiko really went from my top 3 fave character to bottom last. （￣へ￣）he is the worst character in this series. poor ugetsu and haruki. both don't deserve such a man. sigh... i hoped the author could've made haruki not accept akihiko's proposal at first. it would've been ideal if they started their relationship back from square one as friends and gradually progress healthyly as the story goes on. （/TДT)/
