I mean it is still a dead tree and dead tree are dangerous. if I was her I would like to get rid of it too has soon has possible.
I really like how the author delivered Maxi's insecurities and it really made me feel for her. She went through a lot of abuse, and is actively trying to do better and be more confident and is willing to get help... unlike a certain FL in a certain webtoon that just makes me facepalm myself.
HOWEVER....
I dislike her calling a dead tree ghastly after hearing the beliefs of the people of her fief. Show some respect girl. Also, dead trees that look like that are awesome. This is just my bias ╮(￣▽￣)╭
