Conflicted

This was hard to read. The ending was happy and wholesome, but man, everything else was bad. Non-con sex bordering rape if it wasn't already rape. Arguably abusing someone's childhood trauma to take advantage of them sexually.

Yes, the two helped each other overcome their childhood trauma, but oof. There's no denying it that the MC was subjected to classical conditioning through abusive sex. On top of that, there's a lot of projecting going on because of anxieties that weren't healthy.

I love the writing; it was organized well and the drama is logical and healthy. The story the characters were cast with was pretty crappy. There's a lot going on in the story that really wasn't ok. Even though the ending was good, it was more or less a perverse fantasy.
