I don't think Atohira is the type to proclaim his confession in public. In that sense, Kawasumi is so much cooler.
But I like the way he actively pursued Suiren, whereas he acted as if he took Kouharu for granted.
I ship Atohira × Suiren tho.
But the parts where Kawasumi asked her out in public, and proclaimed that he would protect her during the graduation ceremony - really impressed me, for a previously poorly spoken guy.
