Cause he’s literally been a jerk and treated Jooin bad for 40 chapters now?? It doesn’t matter whether Yahwi liked Jooin in the past- he’s treating him like trash now. Yahwi’s had so many chances to not be an asshole and each time he’s fucked it up.

Yahwis been an asshole since he was little though, seems to me he had issues with his family and overall developed that personality- so he doesnt know how to care for others or even love them and like ik everybody is like "thats not an excuse" but this is what legit happens in a story, they tryna show you the development and sometimes its either fast or slow. I dont agree with that particular incident that he did with jooin but its so expected from authors nowadays to bring drama.

Having a mildly sad upbringing does not justify Yahwi’s treatment of Jooin. I’m all for character development but it’s already been 40+ chapters and Yahwi has only gotten worse. He’s shown literally no development or progress in his treatment of Jooin.
Isk why people are hating yawhi so much (Ik he was an asshole but he told jooin before they started everything plus He is trying his best) and saying he lied about liking jooin well it’s so much clear he really cares about jooin too the flashbacks duh
