The novel is currently around ch23 of the manhwa, shortly after they went home from the zoo. The order of the novel is a bit diff from the manhwa, but everything will make sense once you read it, as it fills the manhwa’s plot holes

Good thing Toma’s cuteness saves the day. It’s not the scanlator’s fault, the pacing itself is definitely wonky. I highly suggest to read the novel as a supplement. They removed a lot of stuff in the manhwa that’s why it’s a but confusing. Just look it up on novelupdates or somewhere else, you’ll find it.
