I see what ur saying (like she's too innocent...correct me if I'm wrong) but the thing is the reason the 6 year olds know so much is bc of the society. Back then people dodnt openly talk about or even teach things like sex or sex education. Now we r constantly surrounded by technology which means an easier access to that sort of things. Also she is still a fully grown adult.

I think pedophilia is the wrong word to use in this situation. She herself said that she lived in the mountains for her entire life, so she knows nothing of the outside world. Her brain wasn’t feed the info that she needed to think like the rest of society. However, her brain is mature enough to take in all this new info and make sense of it. It’s not pedophilia, she’s simply not well informed or educated on the norms of society.

Haven’t you realize that story isn’t set in the 21st century? Most marriages back then were forced on women, to men that are twice their age, where they are constantly beaten. Women back then weren’t taught anything about their bodies or sex, their sole purpose was to please their husband and reproduce.
She clearly was taken from a horrible situation to a much much better one.
So, I still say that pedophilia is the wrong word to use.

yeah, my wording is wrong. I use the word pedophilic because well she has the intelligence of a child. I'm not against the relationship at all but it does seem off that they did have sex. When the FL doesn't even know what sex is. I really can't think of a word for it. Maybe rape? Idk
