Honestly that's fair enough. Despite my initial comment, I don't actually mind who becomes the ML but I started reading this story when it first came out and of course read the comments. As I was reading the earlier comments some spoilers were there and they all stated that Jefferey was the actual ML cause I also used to think that Ivan was the ML, so I started rooting for Jeffery once I knew he was end game. Now everyone is saying different things and I'm becoming confused... ?( ￣□￣||)
You're right, charlotte sees them as children and her goal is to save them, we don't know what will happen because we are still in the eldow's arc, which is very, very long, nothing is safe in the manhwa and there is no spoiler because the manhwa is original, this has no novel, the only spoilers we can give you are only the current chapters (which are already 80) so far we have only seen charlotte and Jeffrey in the past of eldow, the author hasnt said nothing or mentioned with who she is going to end up with, you can go to see her official site to confirm it

Jeffrey is the ML (there are more clues in addition to that illusion like more than 15), there is information that I know but I cannot reveal it, it is not about the ML but about something else

WAIT, why are people debating the ML ? Is it not Jeffery ? To Charlotte, she only sees her disciples as kids so I honestly don't think she would consider Ivan as a romantic love interest. Also I just wanna point out when Charlotte was in the world Eldow created and she saw Jeffery's grave, there was a *throb* sfx after saying "No matter how fantastic it is, Jeffery's death. I've never even imagined it" meaning she's now aware of the chance he could actually die and is hurt over the thought.
