Started out against this relationship but now...

At first, I was always against them being together. Cause it is just weird for sibs to do each other even though they’re step sibs. It just screams incest to me no matter what. Then, we got a short taku-haesoo. Even though I’m glad jowoon-haesoo is no longer a thing since they irks me, deep down I know taku-haesoo is not a healthy one either. But at least it’s not like a forbidden love kind of thing. Still, if they go on any longer, no one might be happy until the end cause everyone only just play pretend. When haesoo broke up with taku, it was real. The angst, the heartbreak that I got from just a simple sentence, cause we all know how invested taku was at the end of the relationship, with a ring and everything, how haesoo changed taku... but, it is for the best. Haesoo wasn’t happy with him, and will only end up breaking taku more if he keeps on pretending.. Jowoon on the other hand, finally gets his feeling reciprocated in a proper way. He and haesoo no longer need to put their pride first and play the push and pull game. This is what we should aim for. If you feel something, you should just go for it. And thus, because of how much real the story of them all, how close they are to the reality, I am now slowly accepting jowoon-haesoo. They did not able to be true to their feelings back then because they were just teenagers, and their love is forbidden because of their parents.. Now that they’re adults, they should be able to live their life their way. I hope all of them get the happiness they deserved long ago. Along with taku..

this is a valid take!! personally didnt find taehae's relationship touching or deep at all, and taku went into their relationship with insincere intentions where he literally didnt care about haesoo at all, but "just wanted to see the kind of story HS writes when he's gone". i think once he developed more feelings, the ring was just a desperate attempt at trying to keep something that really wasnt his. what you said about jw/hs's pride and their push and pull game is very true. it mimics this great analysis i read about their relationship today which might interest you: http://www.mangago.zone/home/mangatopic/10526356/

Wow thanks for the recommendation! It’s a great read, and it’s nice to know that there are others with the same (kinda) reading comprehension as mine. Lol. And yes, the ring thing to me seemed like a cheap trick to make haesoo stay when taku knew it from the beginning that he stands no chance in haesoo’s eyes. But then, I think I would do the same if I were him. About the push and pull game analysis, the person who wrote it explains it very well while me, I just felt tired writing, and gave up in the end. Lol again. The way joohae’s relationship relate to their parents, and how their parents manipulate them into calling it a quit, to me there’s no victim or perpetrator. Both sides were just trying to be with their significant other. Love makes us greedy. But it failed to make joohae fight for their love when they were teens because of the guilt trip game their parents push into their faces.
