where do joowon stans claim he didn't do shitty things??? 95% of the joowon stans i've seen here are clearly aware and say that joowon developed and changed for the better. we would not say he developed if he had nothing to fix. the only fights i see here in the comment section are taku stans being like "uwu baby taku did nothing wrong deserved better!" and then bringing up incest. all of which spurs the discussion of why taku is "toxic" and taehae is a bad relationship. if people said joowon did nothing wrong, that would create discussion about what he did do wrong. but alas. that doesnt happen.
Because he didn’t develop. He just was an asshole and then suddenly wasn’t when he realized his childhood ex who he was a complete jerk to was still in love with him. He didn’t get better because something he changed over time. I’ve only seen him be nice and a good person the last like 3-4 ch and even then he’s still rude to literally every. But my biggest complaint abt joowon stans is the constant “jooWON jooWON hahahaha anyone who likes Taku is annoying and they don’t understand love!!!! Can’t they see jooWON!!!!!” It might be a loud minority but it’s annoying and just as problematic as people shouting incest back and forth. They’re not making discussion they’re just annoying picks
this the dumbest take i've ever read and i think you just need to reread the story. joowon literally had the most time for reflection and realization in this story. he DID in fact have the most growth and only someone in denial wouldnt see it. he admitted he took haesoo for granted, admitted he was wrong for his arrogance, and literally WORKS TO CHANGE THAT. what on earth do you think the lunch with the actress is about now. he knew he was cowardly for not being able to tell haesoo he loves him: there's a whole chapter on that too. as a teen/young adult: he wanted to be with haesoo without complicating things and facing the consequences of their relationship, but he realized that he was immature for the way he handled things, and the bullying scandal was him telling haesoo that he'll take responsibility for his actions and take care of the shit he did before. and that includes taking responsibility for their relationship: something he never wanted to do before, and he did go and do it when he stood up to his dad and when he confessed to haesoo first.
i summed it up so fast, but there's literally more in this story. and i dont know how you miss all this lol. feel like you just didn't bother to understand his character.
this is a good take on his relationship with haesoo that addresses some of his flaws: http://www.mangago.zone/home/mangatopic/10526356/
Listen this isn’t even the point I was trying to make. All I was saying is that I just hate the mass amount fans who ruined this manhwa. I would probably like joowon and see more of his growth if the comments weren’t full of people being complete assholes to other people. On BOTH SIDES!! Do I not want to like his character bc Joowon stans are annoying as hell? YES. Is that close minded of me. YES. But I care so little of this manhwa that I don’t want to reread it because the fans 100% ruined it for me.
what does the comment section have to do with simply reading the story??
you outright said: joowon had no development, and he's still an asshole. both statements are frankly: UNTRUE. the comment section doesnt just suddenly erase multiple chapters and moments in the story,, so what kind of an excuse is that lol
this is probably why there are arguments in the first place. other than the incest arguements, it's all about ppl misreading or ignoring important points in the story, and then ppl fighting back. anyway. just read and understand everything going on that the author is trying to tell. the comments have literally no bearing on that, and you dont even need to read the comments if it stresses you out haha
i mean, considering the screen time division, the moments focused on joowon's growth which all started after chapter 55: is realistically about 5-6 chapters when putting together all the fragments and pieces together??
He did spend all of s3 reflecting, and 5-6 chapters out of 45 chapters is MORE THAN ENOUGH to show his development. Many great writers can write amazing and complete stories in that many chapters, with full development of their characters too.
And that screen time for joowon's development makes sense when there's so many other things to cover too: there's haesoo, taku, taehae's r/s, leo's schemes, joowon's dad and haesoo's mother, the flashbacks from highschool, etc.
Anyway, we're still not done the story, and I guarantee we will see more of how he's changed in the upcoming chapters too.
It’s amazing how after each chapter passes I hate this fandom more and more and care so much less abt this manhwa despite how much I loved it in the beginning. Y’all who like joowon are annoying as hell, he still did shitty things, and Taku isn’t your “uwu baby”, he did fucked up things too. At this point I’m only here bc I’ve read 101 chapters and I can’t just drop it (︶︿︶)
