Lol youre sneering at the plotholes from this story, but inst 99% of shoujos about a prince or noble falling for a commoner or something like that, logically speaking these relationships would not work due to the diferrence in status, however these stories are tailored to be like cinderella, to make the imposible posible and light the inner disney princess withing ourselves
eh??? but no. however, now that we're talking about shoujos which consist of a prince or noble falling for a commoner and not to mention, some lowly countryside noble too, don't they usually have redeeming qualities? aren't they usually a saint, a girl with some rare affinity with magic and something like that? and of course, if that is the person a noble or a prince fell for, the nobles wouldn't really argue with their relationship because it would be really beneficial for them lol. and now, i wouldn't be dropping this because who knows, the fl might have some rare ass magic or she might be special or smth lol
hierarchy wise (and considering nobility, aristocracy, and stuff) their relationship is too impossible, of course there would be nobles who would greatly disagree with their engagement, much more of their marriage and look, you cannot counter me with, "but he's the emperor so he can do anything and blah blah blah," because exactly- he is the emperor and his authority and power doesn't come from him alone; the nobles holds a decent amount of power too.
anyways, loopholes are everywhere to be honest. but i wouldn't drop this still because the fl's brother is hot ngl, and the duke too tifkdkfjdkc
