Just how many times I see these themes. Giving everything he/she wants is not considered as love. It's like an alternative of neglecting them without totally ignore their needs.
Everyone has their own way of giving love. Although it may not seem like that for us coz technically we have different culture and time, but that does not invalidate his love for his daughter. The thought is what really counts.

Well, but mostly misunderstood it as what I've mentioned. A way of neglecting or not spoiling an individual. Although I really appreciate the thought, not all know the existence of the thought (especially with the 180° different attitude and words)
