Not tryna defending Hwi’s tactlessness buuut feel like there is a misunderstanding here. Hwi gives a vibe of someone who has a hard time opening up to others bc u know he is a chaebol and stuff. Therefore he can’t express himself and his feelings well. Jooin, on the others hand, thought Hwi would be the grown up in this relationship so Jooin assume that Hwi is the dominant one (the one who lead the relationship) when in reality, the one who is going to do this gonna be Jooin. That’s my guess based on how author like to give meaning to the characters’ name (Jooin means “Master/the dominant one” in Korean)
