WaY outta pocket. Keith's character development came out of nowhere (or I at least don't remember him going through an awakening) and bc of that- all that caring shit just looks like a poor attempt at manipulation to me (meaning, it's obvious af) or it feels like Keith is just doing this bc his ass got tied down since he got mark- he has no choice but to try & trick the other into loving him at this point
