hi! do you know where this part of the webtoon would be in the novel?
Uhm, these both parts go in chronological order, so because Maxi just met Ruth in the library and he is explaining to her how to use the different kinds of coins, I think it would take about 5 to 10 chapters with the castle renovation. But can’t say for sure, I’m not keeping with the manhwa raws.

Ruth, the magician becomes somewhat of a mentor/friend figure, and is the first one to help her start getting her confidence back, especially with Riftan’s absence while visiting the royal palace. All of the staff in the castle treat her nicely, and she gains respect from them after finishing the castle renovations (with the help of Ruth). Two knight apprentices (who are about 16-17 years old) become friendly with Maxi, especially after she tells them somewhat exaggerated tales about the glorious deeds of Riftan (these two boys admire Riftan). Also, one of the knights that appear in the first 10 chapters of the manhwa (the one who has beard, I’m guessing thats him), is the first knight that starts treating Maxi somewhat kindly, although with awkwardness. This is important because the knights have a deep hatred towards count Croix (Maxi’s father) and they think that Maxi is of similar tendencies. He is the only knight for now to start thinking differently about her, because he sees that she is a king person.
Some parts of the story that help Maxi boost her confidence, in cronological order: renovating the interior of the castle, starting to managing the different parts of the castle in preparation for winter, helping Ruth to deal with healing a group of guards and common people after a werewolf attack (even though she felt terrible from the gruesome sight of these injured people to the point of vomiting, she still wanted to help somehow and be useful), and right know, she is starting to learn the basics of magic (Ruth told her that she has aptitudes for this).
Overall, I would recommend everyone to read the novel, as the fluff and spicy moments with Riftan are great, and Maxi is little by little opening up to her very loving husband.
